28.09.2021 The Faculty of Radio Engineering Holds Hackathon.

The all-Ukrainian large-scale engineering hackathon SmaRTF will include the following areas: robotics, programming, engineering, electronics, and design.

Participants will dive into engineering creativity and acquire practical skills to create a prototype of a finished device. Each participant will be able to choose a hobby in the area of the Internet of Things.
Hackathon theme: IoT

The competition consists of two stages.

🔹 Stage I – October 30-31, 2021.
Within 48 hours, participants must solve a problem and present a project within the category announced on the day of the competition. The assignment includes a description of the operation of the device/system, block diagrams, and a preliminary estimate of the prototype. The top 5 solutions will take part in the second stage, where teams will need to create a prototype device/system within the budget. ⠀
🔹 Stage II – December 4, 2021. It is the presentation of the finished prototype.
Winners will be determined at each stage. Only the winners of the first stage will go to the second stage.
Terms of participation
🔹 Type of participation – team.
🔹 Students aged 16 to 25, motivated and interested in strengthening their skills, can participate in the hackathon.
🔹 Each unit consists of 2–4 participants.
To take part in SmaRTF, teams can register until October 24, 2021.
Participation in the hackathon is free.
SmaRTF is an online competition via ZOOM.

The competition requires a minimum level of knowledge in the development of radio electronics. So don’t hesitate – register your team now!
