Khomenko Olena
Olena holds a Master’s degree in Philology and is a Lecturer at the Department of English for Humanities. She specializes in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP), focusing on developing communicative competence, academic writing skills, and incorporating innovative teaching methodologies. She also brings practical experience collaborating with international organizations, having conducted initial language assessments and candidate interviews for UN missions.
She actively contributes to the development of curriculum materials, practical assignments, and resources for students’ independent study. Her academic and methodological output includes works in modern philology and foreign language pedagogy, course syllabi, comprehensive instructional packages, and assessment materials for higher education students. She consistently pursues professional development through participation in academic conferences, workshops, and international educational initiatives.
Her professional and research interests center on modern communicative language teaching approaches, the integration of digital tools in education, and the development of language competencies for academic and professional communication.
