One of them is catastrophic: KPI scientists announced three scenarios of flooding due to the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station

According to the probable scenario of flooding of the surrounding areas in the event of a dam break at the Kakhovka HPP, the coast of the right bank of the Dnipro will suffer 8 times less than the left bank. The total area of flooding reaches 1126 km2. Hundreds of settlements may be completely or partially in the affected area!

Of the large settlements, the coastal part of Kherson will be flooded.
