The international conference “Virtual Exchange for Teaching and Learning: Crossing Borders Without Travel” took place on 8 June 2023

The Faculty of Linguistics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is pleased to announce that the international conference “Virtual Exchange for Teaching and Learning: Crossing Borders Without Travel” took place on 8 June 2023.
Featured speakers were Professor Robert O’Dowd (Universidad de León, Spain), Professor Masahito Watanabe (Yokohama National University, Japan), Professor Iryna Simkova, and Professor Yuliana Larysh (Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine), they explored current trends and issues focused on realities and challenges of virtual exchange in Higher education.


Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics Professor Zoia Kornieva opened the conference with heartful greetings.
The expert in virtual exchange Professor Robert O’Dowd shared his ideas about the Virtual Exchange in Higher Education.

The founder of the Ibunka Project professor Masahito Watanabe discussed the impact of the Ibunka Project 2021-2022.

Head of the Department of English Language for Humanities Professor Iryna Simkova and Head of the Department of English Language for Engineering Professor Yuliana Lavrysh presented the COIL project results.
