Stepan Tarasenko, a second-year master’s student at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis, spoke at the V International Scientific-Practical Conference Modeling, Control, and Information Technology” with a presentation on Sperner’s Theorem.
The event took place on November 4-6, 2021, at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering in Rivne.
The Conference included the following research areas:
– mathematical and computer modeling of objects and processes;
– computational methods;
– robotics, automation and control;
– Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence;
– software development;
– smart grids and smart consumers;
– Information Technology.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute student studied the applied application of Sperner’s theorem in the problem “Secret distribution scheme”. He also gave two ways to prove the complicated case of Sperner’s theorem, considered and proved the complicated Shperner’s theorem for two-part cases of a multiset. In addition, he addressed the possibility of generalizing the theorem to more partial cases. Stepan worked on the report with his research supervisor and the Institute of Physics and Technology graduate Oleksandr Rybak.
