Serhii graduated from the Radio Engineering Faculty (RTF) with a degree in Design and Technology of Radio Electronic Devices.
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A7293). From February to April 2023, he participated in combat operations in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions as part of the Territorial Defense Forces. In June 2023, he joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine.

In October 2023, he was appointed commander of the anti-tank guided missile company, military unit 3102 of the National Guard of Ukraine. He proved himself to be a competent commander and was respected among the personnel.
From October 2023 to July 2025, he continued to participate in repelling the enemy’s armed aggression in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

He was killed on July 14, 2025, by an enemy FPV drone strike on a vehicle during an operation to return servicemen in the Kharkiv region.

On August 8, 2025, by decree of the President of Ukraine, Serhii was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star.
